Stachys byzantina is een wintergroene plant. Stachys byzantina verlangt een zonnige standplaats in droge bodem. Hoogte van het blad circa 15 cm. Wollig, zilvergrijs blad. Roze bloeiwijze aan opgaande stengels tot 40 cm hoogte. Juni – Aug.
